Ilfracombe Pier
Ilfracombe has had a pier since 1873 originally made from wood which would have looked vastly different to how it looks today, seen here on an overcast afternoon as the tide recedes to reveal the lower level and the stainless steel hand rails leading to what was known locally on the previous pier as the North End. Ilfracombe, North Devon. Aug 2021.
