On a calm March evening the sky looked very promising so I hot footed it down to my local beach just before sunset, however a bank of cloud along the horizon scuppered any chance of a stunning sunset, but what did evolve was a very subtle band of colour just above the setting sun. As the tide was going out and there was only a hint of a breeze the reflections in the wet sand left by the receding waves were just beautiful. Westward-Ho! North Devon. March 2018
